RESEARCH OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS
The main objective of the project is to encourage citizens in exploring the benefits of research on climate change as applied through a cross-multidisciplinary approach to 5 main sub-topics, currently explored within the EU Green Deal call:
- Farm to Fork
- Biodiversity
- Circular economy
- Zero-pollution, toxic-free environments
- Health & Wellbeing
To this aim, in the framework of our partnership we will organize hands-on experiments and science shows, debates, competitions, workshops, guide visits and science slams throughout Europe. The main goal is to substantially increase awareness of the researcher’s work on these cross-cutting topics for reducing climate change, thus making science accessible and fun to everyone for generating a European understanding of how to cope with climate change issues.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS
The research concerned the redevelopment process of urban open spaces by relating the social and technological elements that characterize open spaces and the related environmental-climatic performance. Through an in-depth study of materials and possible combinations of innovative materials, urban vegetation, evaporative and shading systems, metaproject scenarios were configured aimed at obtaining external comfort and improving the urban microclimate.
