Interdepartmental Research Center Territory Building Restoration Environment

CITERA develops scientific and applied research and high-level training in the field of the study of architectural and urban space planning, the organization of the territory and the landscape, the preservation of monumental historical testimonies and the enhancement of their quality.

The vision of the research center is a unified and integrated scientific cooperation, which provides the contribution of academics and designers in the fields of construction technologies, construction sciences and techniques, representation art and technique, history of architecture and restoration, city and territory planning.

Interdepartmental Research Center Fo.Cu.S. - Enhancement and Management of Minor Historical Centers and Landscape-Environmental Systems

Fo.Cu.S is an Interdepartmental Research Center of Rome Sapienza University. Its main aims consist in developing local economic resources and promoting the regeneration of small centers. Our approach is oriented to investigate the landscape-environmental systems integrating different disciplinary sectors in different territorial scales. Our goals intend to promote the enhancement of local resources and the development of tangible and intangible networks.

Sapienza Design Research

Sapienza Design Research Interdepartmental Center

Sapienza Design Research is the first Interdepartmental University Center in Italy dedicated to Design-driven Innovation.
According to the STEAM approach, Sapienza Design Research seeks multidisciplinary research also in collaboration with partners outside the university, imagines dissemination events to the general public according to the principles of the "third mission", extra-curricular training projects for continuing education.

DigiLab Interdepartmental Research Center

The DigiLab Research Center was created to strengthen interdisciplinary scientific research in the field of heritage and cultural production, the management of particularly complex instruments and laboratories in the sector of digital technologies for culture, the communication and enhancement of cultural heritage.
